Q1. WHY DO WE FEEL COLD WE WE ENTER AN AIR CONDITIONED ROOM DURING A HOT DAY?

GRP ANS:

The cooler air conduct heat away from our body, making us lose heat and feel colder. Thermal energy flow from your body to lose heat to the surroundings, hence, your body feels cold.

PERSONAL ANS.:

Our body gain heat from the hot surrounding air outside the air conditioned room, then when we enter the room with colder surrounding air, heat is transferred from our body to the colder surrounding air, making your body feel cold.

Q2. WHY DO WE SHIVER WHEN YOU COME OUT OF THE SWIMMING POOL ON A HOT DAY?

GRP ANS.:

When you come out of the swimming pool, we are covered in water, the water will be evaporated into the air, transferring our body heat away from our body and we will feel cold. Thus our body will shiver to warm ourselves up so that we will not be that cold.

PERSONAL ANS.:

When we come out if the swimming pool, the water on our body will be evaporated in to the air, bringing our body heat away, thus feeling cold. Shivering is to increase body movement to warm the body up so that we will not feel that cold.
